Douglas is a dynamic and driven media executive who has delivered award winning global communications campaigns including film, TV, digital, print, outdoor, event, original programming and mobile applications. His work has been honored by Clio Awards, Webby Awards, London International Advertising Awards, Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards and Cannes Lions. He has developed, produced and distributed creative content for P&G, GE, IKEA, Dodge, The New York Mercantile Exchange, BNY Mellon, SAP and Paul G. Allen’s Vulcan Productions.

Over the past four years Douglas has operated as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cinelan and alongside Co-Founders including Morgan Spurlock and Jack Myers he led the development of GE FOCUS FORWARD FILMS – Short Films Big Ideas; a short film program that delivered over 100million views from 150+ countries and over 5 billion media impressions. The project included a short film competition, which drew 563 entries from 69 countries. The program was screened on all seven continents including Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Berlinale, Bussan, Dubai International Film Festival and even Antarctica.

In October of 2014 Douglas was at the helm again when Cinelan partnered with Paul G. Allen’s Vulcan Productions to launch WE THE ECONOMY – 20 Short Films You Can’t Afford to Miss. Cinelan delivered 20 short films including animation, comedy, scripted and documentary formats with directors such as Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Adam MaKay (Anchorman), James Schamus (Producer Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon), Steve James (Hoop Dreams), Albert Hughes (Menace II Society) and others. WE THE ECONOMY achieved several unprecedented accomplishments including a simultaneous day-and-date launch on 57 theatrical, digital and TV platforms including Landmark Theaters, Comcast, Time Warner, Netflix, Amazon, Yahoo!, Reddit, YouTube, Vimeo and others. In it’s first 3 months of distribution, WE THE ECONOMY received over 20 million views and surpassed 2 billion media impressions.
