Shah Karim

Shah Karim is an expert on big data and multi-channel retail, and chief executive officer of SafeRock, a greater New York City company that provides analytic solutions to improve shareholder value and improve return on investment. With customer behavior and technology changing constantly, management must simultaneously handle Amazon's impact, succeed online, and attract new customers. A seasoned and collaborative team player, Shah works with companies and Boards to tackle these challenges head on and welcomes C-level and Board participation. 

Shah has deep experience in retail, e-commerce, energy, technology, and education sectors. He works with C-level executives and shareholders at public and private companies as well as Private Equity portfolios to improve value. Shah is at ease hacking competitive strategy and industry challenges, and equally engaged with hands-on guiding data scientists on Big Data, ML, AI, and algorithms.

Shah is an NRF Executive Mentor deeply committed to encouraging students and first gen. He mentors Careers & Life programs at Yale, Univ of North Texas, and NJIT. He is a Lang Center Innovation Fellow at Columbia Business School. He serves as an elected member of Yale University's YAA Board of Governors and its GSAA Executive Board. 

Shah speaks widely at international conferences in the US, Europe, and Asia, and is a published author and recognized Top 100 Retail Influencer by Retail Digest. He received his B.A., M.A., and M.Phil. degrees from Yale University.
