Tom Kuhn

Tom Kuhn is the Managing Member of Doorbrook LLC, a private investment firm.  He began his professional career as an M&A and securities lawyer. After graduating from law school, he worked as a law clerk to Judge Richard Cardamone on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  In 1989, he joined Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and was an associate in the firm’s corporate department.

From 1995 to 1997 he was a partner at the law firm of Covington and Burling, which he left to become SVP & General Counsel of USA Networks, Inc. (now IAC). After four years at USA/IAC, he joined Allen & Company LLC, a merchant bank and advisory firm, where he was a Managing Director for 14 years.

He is on the Board of Directors of Interval Leisure Group (IILG) and serves on the Audit, Executive and Nominating Committees of ILG. Tom was a 2010 David Rockefeller Fellow with the Partnership for New York City.
