Bolton is a known and trusted financial journalist. She led Bloomberg Television’s morning programming for 8 years, where she analyzed trading across U.S., European and Asian markets during such time changing events such as the Credit Crisis. From 2008-2010, she was a daily contributor to CBS’ Early Show. She is known for her thoughtful and thorough questions in interviews with high-profile investors including Blackstone’s Head of Real Estate, Jon Gray, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman of Pershing Square Capital Management, Sullivan & Cromwell Senior Chairman H. Rodgin Cohen, Lazard Vice Chairman Gary Parr, billionaire investor Wilbur Ross, Carlyle Group co-founder and managing director David Rubenstein and Fred Wilson, managing partner at Union Square Ventures.
She completed most of her undergraduate and graduate coursework in France, and holds a degree in English and French literature from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from New York University. Bolton has lived around the world, including in Paris, London, and Singapore, in addition to her current home in New York City. She is a known coffee connoisseur which explains her energy level and ability to keep up with her two young sons.
