Jessica Malkin
Jessica G. Malkin is the Executive Director of Chicago Ideas Week–a platform built on one core belief: When a wide spectrum of thinkers and instigators share ideas, we have the power to transform our world. CIW develops programming that focuses on altering perspectives, stretching academic curiosity and forcing us all to look forward and re-imagine the structures and beliefs that shape our community. Each year, CIW draws 27,000 attendees and sparks national dialogue on a range of topics. In addition to overseeing CIW, Jessica co-leads the Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship, which selects five young social entrepreneurs annually from a pool of over 250 applications from around the world. These social innovators connect and collaborate have an opportunity to speak at CIW, interact with business leaders in a range of industries and receive a non-discretionary gift of $10,000 each to be used towards their organizational goals.
Jessica lives in Chicago with her husband Josh and daughters Josie and Blake.
