Samantha Slager is a launch marketing pioneer and serial entrepreneur. As Co-founder, CMO of Nimbus the first premium and flexible commissary/ghost kitchen Samantha was challenged with creating a brand in an industry unknown to most. The first step was getting people to understand what a commissary was, secondly to explain the difference between a commissary and a ghost kitchen, and lastly to make it appealing and relevant to people outside of the hospitality world. In less than a year since starting the Nimbus Samantha and her business partner Camilla Opperman have raised $1.4M in pre-seed capital, have begun construction on their first facility in the Lower East Side, and have aligned themselves with exciting strategic partners in the F&B industry.

Prior this Samantha co-founded Poppy Talk Social, a Marketing firm specializing in launching start-ups and creating strategic brand partners. The company’s clients included Bumble, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Supergoop, and many others. Before launching her own firm, Samantha was with Ralph Lauren Corporation where she worked on the branding and marketing for not only stores but the entire Club Monaco business.  
Samantha graduated with a dual degree in Business Marketing and Graphic Design from Lehigh University.
