Genevieve Roth
Genevieve Roth is Glamour‘s Senior Special Projects Director. She manages Glamour‘s signature event, Women of the Year, as well as editorial partnerships and cross-platform projects. In her role, Roth secures stories that spotlight high profile figures like Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Melinda Gates. In 2014, Roth helped launch The Girl Project, Glamour‘s global philanthropic initiative supporting girls’ education. Through her work, Roth has helped to establish Glamour as a thought leader in the philanthropic space, specifically in the area of girls’ education. Roth regularly moderates panels and speaks on these topics, and has travelled in this capacity to more than 40 countries on six continents. She is an Aspen Ideas Scholar and a New York Women in Communications Rising Star, and has worked in collaboration with organizations like The Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, Every Mother Counts, and The International Medical Corps. Formerly, Roth served as Features Director at Marie Claire Australia and has held editorial positions at GQ and Esquire. She is a graduate of Emerson College and the Columbia Journalism School Publishing Course. Also, Roth is a born and raised Alaskan, which she feels is important for you to know.
