Perry Hewitt
Perry Hewitt works at the self-disrupting nexus of marketing and technology, where new digital/social/mobile behaviors and capabilities are transforming businesses and nonprofits alike.
As Harvard’s first CDO, she is charged with leading digital strategy for communications and engagement — as well as exploring ways organizations effect digital transformation.
Perry has worked in marketing, editorial, and strategy roles at firms including Crimson Hexagon, Razorfish, Harcourt, and Lotus Development Corporation. She has consulted to media companies on digital product development, and began her career in publishing at the Houghton Mifflin Company.
Perry advises students and startups, and writes and speaks on topics including digital transformation, marketing and content strategy, user experience, mobile, women and leadership, and the social web. She has lived and worked in Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
