Elle Reeve is a technology correspondent for “VICE News Tonight” - the Emmy award-winning nightly newscast from VICE Media and HBO. Prior to joining VICE, Elle was a senior editor at the New Republic, where she covered politics, culture, and trends in technology. Her writing has appeared in The Daily Beast, The Atlantic, and Racket Teen.

In August 2017, Reeve gained critical acclaim for her part in reporting on the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville for VICE News Tonight. Her extraordinary access to rally organizer Christopher Cantwell coupled with immersive on-the-ground reportage from the protests at Emancipation Park and violence in downtown Charlottesville provided viewers with a chilling and unflinching insight into one of the most consequential weekends in recent American history.

The 22-minute documentary had a colossal impact both nationally and internationally, setting the news agenda and dominating media headlines with Reeve appearing on nearly every major US news network for interview. ‘Charlottesville: Race and Terror’ has since received more than 50 million views across all platforms.
