Stephanie Mattera is an award-winning animal advocate, philanthropist, adjunct instructor, lifestyle expert, and TV personality.  She is passionate about community outreach, creating positive change, and setting socially conscious style and beauty trends.  She is the co-founder of the multimedia lifestyle brand, Social Good Living™, which is focused on inspiring the next generation of change-makers by raising consumers’ social consciousness around the choices they make every day, from fashion to beauty, to home décor, pet products, food selections, and more.  Stephanie is passionate about giving back, making socially conscious choices in her everyday life, and supporting brands that are connected to a cause.  She is also the Lifestyle Correspondent for Celebrity Catwalk TV airing on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network.  As an on-air host, Stephanie is responsible for interviewing tastemakers, authors, social entrepreneurs, designers, humanitarians, animal advocates, and non-profit founders from around the world.  In her segments, Stephanie often draws upon her fashion expertise, which was cultivated through her corporate fashion career that spanned over a decade starting with Macy’s Merchandising Group, Ralph Lauren, and Alex and Ani as well as through her Brand Ambassador role with Glamour magazine.

Stephanie is also proud to be an Adjunct Instructor in the Public Relations and Corporate Communications Master’s program at New York University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) and is a 2009 graduate of the program.  She also holds an M.B.A. in Global Business Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island, and a Certificate in Digital Journalism from New York Film Academy in partnership with NBC News.  In 2016, Stephanie received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service from the Office of the President of the United States and in 2013, Stephanie received the Bart Lawson Alumni Award for Professional Service and Outreach from SPS and is actively involved with her alma mater as an NYU Alumni Association Board member.

While Stephanie supports an array of charities and causes, she is especially committed to those organizations that help vulnerable populations, which most certainly includes animals.  In 2010, Stephanie became the Spokesperson for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals.  She advocates for spaying and neutering pets, rescue and adoption, and the responsibilities of being a pet parent at community events and on news segments. She is the proud pet mom to six rescued animals of her own.  In 2011, she created the Charity by Design Partnership between Alex and Ani and the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, which generated nearly one million dollars for the non-profit's life-saving mission over three years.

Stephanie serves on the Humane Society Legislative Fund's National Political Council and is a member of the New England Political Council, is a board member at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation and Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, CT, and is the PR Chair at Unspoken Smiles Foundation.
