Marianne Carey Hayes — Disruptor Awards

Marianne is a Principal at Event Associates, New York’s leading fundraising event firm. She has captained benefits for major not -for-profit organizations throughout the New York area. Her team implements high- profile branded events which raise critical funds for mission programming. Clients include educational enrichment programs, universities, cultural institutions, environmental groups, health care services and research, and social enterprise organizations. Previously, Marianne raised capital for emerging growth and start-up companies at Merrill Lynch in New York and Los Angeles.

One of fourteen siblings in the family of former New York Governor Hugh L. Carey, Marianne is a serial political campaigner. Having lost her mother, brother and husband to cancer, she organizes the Shining Spirit Breakfast, an annual gathering of political pundits which funds Quality of Life needs at numerous cancer treatment centers.

Marianne has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Boston College.
